Okay so i went to Korea and Taiwan throughout June. I had this "Blazer Fever" i'd call it. I keep eyeing on blazers! Bought like 4 of them? Yea like when in Singapore its like super hot, i'd probably sweat in them but who cares?! Vanity over everything. ahaha and at Taiwan, the bags were so cheap i couldn't help myself but grab them like some mad woman on the run.

Maybe i'll share some visuals of my trip and showoff my yummy goodies soon!

An update on yesterday...

Woke up a tad late in the morning, prepared lunch for my family instead. The above masterpiece included salted pepper salmon served with lemon mayo pasta salad. My very first attempt cooking salmon. Was so glad it turned out fine and my brother complimented that he wished he had another piece of salmon. However, i thought that the salmon was a tad too salty (perhaps only for my piece, i added a little too much salt. oppsey!) and also it could be softer. The salad didn't recieve much attention, it was okay.

Having thoughts of preparing another meal again some other time. Starting to get a little obsessed with cooking now though its kinda tedious.

Headed out to Bukit Timah Railway Station later in the afternoon.

Love heading to unseen places of Singapore. Marvelous scenery/ photo taking venue.

What I'm Wearing: Bershka Asymmetrical One Sleeved Dress.

Later in the evening, me and my hun were having plans on settling dinner at Epicurious Cafe' branch at The Rail Mall. However, after walking through and fro the houses, we see no signs of it so hit our asses on the seats at Coffee Bean. Only to realize then, Epicurious was interlinked with a thai restaurant - Sweet, Salty, Spicy; hence not displayed on the directory. How smart. But then again, after browsing thought the bad reviews, we changed our minds and decided on Hatched. Again something stopped us. Hatched was booked for a private function for the night. SO FINALLY, WE SETTLED ON LITTLE PART 1. Was super pissed off at that time due to the haste of time just to set on a place to eat.

Orders: Shepherd's Pie and Crepe.

Okay the pictures did the talking for me, so yupp! The food was worth the price, super filling and tasted awesome. The food served quite fast too. Recommended!

So sorry for the draggy post, perhaps i haven't been (might not be) blogging for a long time!

Me and cake baking just never get along. Baked a Rainbow cake at wee hours yesterday just for my beloved birthday mum. The cake turned out far way worse than i expected and it just didn't look edible! (well it looked better after it was put in the fridge through the night, also explains the rather decent picture of it presented up there). I was too sleepy to even re-bake it (its the thought that counts anyway right? haha). Suffering from sleep deprivation the entire day but by looking at the smile it brought on mummy's face just makes it all worth it.

Was invited to attend the very first F3 Social Function yesterday night. My very first time attending such a function too. Got cute tags at the register and spotted cool people however careless me, i forgot to grab my cam out before i left home. Pictures were taken from my bestie's cam whom accompanied me there. LOADS of people at the Knightbridge outlet till i found myself sweating. Or maybe its just me. Took polaroid shoots and ate mini burgers (which were dam freaking cute but not tasty). There was a 20% off shopping treat for the day, how can a shopaholic like mua resist the temptation?? Lols. Hooked my eyes on a jumpsuit, however my size was OOS! At situations like this i could only console myself that i just saved 100+ bucks and that i'm heading to Korea next month (yay). The overall event was rather boring.. theres not much things going on - like activities for us to do, so me and my bestie left for a drink at coffee club and finally get some rest off our feets.

What am i wearing: Black Chiffon Blouse from TSR, Leather Shorts from RobotNinjas, recently found super dam old thin choker necklace.

Went to Caramel Cafe' today. So here's my review... The atmosphere was so so, very random decorations juxtaposed in a cute manner however not my cuppa tea. They also had a little store called O'JET D'ART selling random vintage stuff. Rather disappointed with the food there. I had Spaghetti With Salmon in House Special Pink Sauce, supposedly their signature, tasted like average home cooked pasta nothing taste-bud-tastic. My Hun had Black Pepper Smoked Duck Sandwich With Dijon Mustard which was a little better than my pasta, got to say the bread was well toasted which added plus points! Thirst quenchers were not bad. I had their homemade Honey Lemonade and Hun got their signature Marshmallow Cafe Au Lait. Lastly, for dessert, lovely Chocolate Mint Cupcake. I like. Cos' its choco mint. :)

Outfit for the day - Vintage Lace Bell Sleeved Blouse from mum's (love to dig mummy's closet when i've got nothing to wear), Leather paneled pants.

Started the day with awesome home-made breakfast - Caesar Salad along with Tuna Croissant. Headed off to flea at Singapore Flyer later in the noon. Didn't manage to get anything for myself though something did caught my eye! Oh well save monehh. In the night, headed down to Wild Honey for dinner. A die for meal was what i had. Queen B for the drink and Scandinavian for main. The salmon was so well cooked, it melts in the mouth. It went effortlessly well with the crispy Rosti. For my boy, he had Wild berry with Basque for main. Equally mouth watering!

End of weekend. Alright everyone continue enjoying your long break!

I laughed hard when i saw this.

Well everyone's dropping jaws with envy and all attention paid to the Britain Royal Wedding held today... The royal bride walks down the red carpet in a gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Classic royal dress, classed with ivory and white satin gazar and the skirt belled like a bloom. I've got to say the dress is very much Middleton than McQueen. Yes the McQueen's signature was maintained but nope i don't feel McQueen. Even so, i loved the deep v-cut with the lace sleeves.

Perk up your appetite with Beer Battered Mushrooms, Smoked Salmon Thin Crusted Pizza for main, RDC Signature Jello Dessert and to quench the thirst, a cup of Iced Cafe' Mocha. Raindrops Cafe' served splendid food along with good ambiance however a tad too slow. But then again the service was good. I would love to revisit again. :)

Oh right I was at town this morning/afternoon, walked through Takashimaya, on the way to lunch, I saw a whole lot of shoes and bags at B2! It was a "SHOES AND BAGS AFFAIR" thingy and i thought i ought to check it out. EVEN Dr. MARTENS ARE AS CHEAP AS $49! Almost gotten one but i was too lazy to try on more designs as there was no chairs! SUPER DIFFICULT. + Dr. Martens are getting too common these days so i gave it up.

At the end of it, i got this bag! :) Super simple and its black haha. Better than going home empty handed right? Moreover it cost me less than $30!

A day without black at all. Currently in favour of pastel colours, especially the mint shade. Wearing a mint oversized cape blouse with brown leather shorts (well i know you can't see it) and pair it up with my new brown clogs. No full shot today cause i'm just too plain lazy.

Well headed down to Marina Bay Sands Hotel today, my friends were on luck, the standard suites were all full hence they got upgraded to some grand suite that was so huge with a freaking grand piano. I was totally in an OMG state when i saw that the rooms had walk-in wardrobes and awesome mirrors, perfect lighting. After the WOW-ness, there was more WOWs. We went up the sky garden. Infinity pool+ jacuzzi-es = AWESOME. Perfect night view.

TODAY's PROJECT : CHANEL PIN TANK

HOW DID I DO IT:

1. get about around 50-60 safety pins.

2. grab an old tank ( well i cut out mine from an oversized shirt)

3. start work! use a white chalk and mark out the design.

4. start pinning by dividing the design into sections first. this is to ensure the pins will end up evenly.

5. TADAAA! thats about it, very simple!
